Devotions is a company that is run from the home of Jeff & Melanie VanderWal. They live in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia,
and have three daughters and two boys. Jeff currently works at the Nova Scotia Community
College teaching Math and Science. When he is not
teaching, he is busy running his webpage business
Bridgewater Media Services. One of his
past projects was a program for
the Palm Pilot (PDA) called Devotions.
Devotions
became a reality when Avantgo
channels were not being updated properly
for channels such as Our Daily Bread.
Jeff thought that a devotional reader
similar to Avantgo would be useful
for himself, and after inquiring of
others, decided to make this program.
Several months later, Devotions
1.0 became the result. Since
then, many updates have resulted in
three different version of Devotions,
compatible with three different Bible
Since the inception of Devotions, Jeff has worked on a number of different platform. Unfortunately,
he does not currently own a Palm product and is no longer updating this software.
